Samsung unveils Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)

Oh no! Samsung did it again! Samsung just announced a new Galaxy tab series, Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). This will be Samsung first tablet that running ICS out of the box. The new tab specification are resemble the brother, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.


Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) Key Features :

  • 7” WSVGA(1024x600) PLS TFT.
  • 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor.
  • 1GB RAM.
  • 8/16/32GB Internal memory, expandable up to 32GB external memory.
  • 3 Megapixel Fixed Focus Camera and VGA front camera.
  • Li-ion 4,000mAh.
  • Android 4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich).

What differentiate this with Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus are:

  • Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) will omit the LED flash.
  • Have a thicker profile - 10.5 mm as opposed to the 9.9mm of the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.
  • The CPU (Could be Exynos) is clocked at 1GHz, rather than 1.2 GHz.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) will be start on sales on March. Price shouldn't be too far apart from current Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus.
