Samsung announces the mirrorless NX20, NX210 and NX1000, Wi-Fi-enabled

The brand new replacement NX line from Samsung is here! The new cameras include the NX20, which replaces the NX10, then the NX210, which replaces last year’s NX200, and an entirely new entry level model, the NX1000.

The Wi-Fi connectivity allows the cameras some nifty “Smart Camera” capabilities, such as automatically backing-up images when you’re around your home Wi-Fi network, but also control of the camera via a ‘remote viewfinder’ app on your smartphone. And finally, direct uploading to online social and cloud-drive services.

On the glance of specs sheet, NX20, NX210 and NX1000 share the similar spec.

Nikon officially announced 24MP D3200 and optional WiFi

The replacement for Nikon D3100 is finally here! This entry-level DSLR can be used with an optional WU-1a Wi-Fi module.


Nikon D3200 Key Features :


  • 24.2 megapixels CMOS APS-C (23.2 x 15.4 mm) Sensor.
  • Expeed 3 processor.
  • ISO 100 - 6400 (12800 with boost).
  • Fixed 3" LCD Screen.
  • 1080p HD recording with 30fps.
  • Lithium-Ion EN-EL14 rechargeable battery with 540 shot.


The Nikon D3200 will come with AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR image stabilization lens and will be available in late April 2012 for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $699.95 (Approximately RM2,100) in either Black or Red. The optional WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter, sold separately, will be available in late May 2012 for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $59.95 (Approximately RM180).

Meizu MX quad-core is now official

Meizu just announced a quad-core version of its MX smartphone, running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.


Meizu MX quad-core Key Features :


  • 4.0 inches screen 640 x 960 pixels.
  • quad-core Samsung Exynos chip, Cortex-A9-based.
  • 1 GB RAM.
  • 8 MP back facing camera.
  • 1700mAh unit.
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.


The Meizu MX quad-core will come in a 32 and 64GB versions. They will be priced in China at the highly attractive ¥2,999 (US$480) and ¥3,999 (US$635) respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy S III Will be Unveiled on 3rd May

Samsung finally decided to unveiled the Galaxy S III on coming 3rd May.


There is a rumours running around saying that Samsung Galaxy S III might not have much difference compare with Samsung Galaxy S II, just like what the iPhone 4S was to the iPhone 4. The only thing we can expect to see was a quad-core CPU (likely an Exynos rather than Tegra), 1GB of RAM and a 4.7" screen.

Anyway, rumours still rumours. We will wait till 3rd May for the final confirmation. Stay tune with us!

The New iPad will come Malaysia 20 April!

Finally, the New iPad is coming to Malaysia on 20th April, this friday!



Malaysia is part of 12 new countries that will receive the new iPad on that day which include South Korea, Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The actual pricing for the new iPad in Malaysia is not confirm but the press release listed them at RM 1,531 (USD 499) for the 16GB model, RM 1,837 (USD 599) for the 32GB model and RM 2,143 (USD 699) for the 64GB model.

As for the iPad Wi-Fi + 4G model, it will be priced at RM 1,929 (US 629) for the 16GB model, RM 2,235 (USD 729) for the 32GB model and RM 2,542 (USD 829) for the 64GB model.

However, we are not sure whether the Wi-Fi + 4G models will actually be offered to Malaysian consumers since our telcos are yet to activate or fully deploy their LTE network.

Not even a year, Panasonic GF3 got new replacement. Panasonic just announced the brand new mirrorless camera gf series, DMC-GF5. GF5 share similar design with GF3 with some improvement in it.
