Samsung Galaxy S II VS Apple iPhone 4 : The Apple iPhone 4 declared slimmer than the Samsung Galaxy S II

Smartphone nowdays are getting slimmer and slimmer, but in the same time the screen size is getting bigger. Don't agree with me? ;P

The Samsung Galaxy S II at its slimmest point is just 8.71mm, while at its thickest point measures 9.91mm. Contrarily, the iPhone 4 has a constant thickness of just 9.3mm throughout its entire body. In its product’s defense Apple gave the argument that users would care more about the overall thickness of the product they’re buying, as it affects the way you carry it (in a pocket, bag, etc.) and not its slimmest point.

So because the iPhone 4′s thickest point was thinner than the Galaxy S II’s, the ASA ruled in Apple’s favor. You have to admit, it makes sense. In the end, it’s all up to you, the consumer, how you perceive the thinness of your smartphone.

My opinion? bullshit! Samsung Galaxy S II thickest point it just at bottom minor part, so overall the body design still as slim as 8.71mm. Unless you really get blinded by apple brainwash. But nevertheless, the slimmest device not this two but NEC Medias!

7.7mm FTW!
