Olympus announce Pen Lite E-PL5 and Pen Mini E-PM2

We know this is coming. We also know the company decided to strip off E-P series and combine in with E-PL series. So here we have today, the hybrid design and brand new PEN, Olympus E-PL5 and the refreshed Pen Mini, E-PM2. It is worth to mention both new model are using the same 16 megapixels sensor as Olympus OM-D E-M5.

Olympus E-PL5 Key Specification :

• Four Thirds (17.3 x 13 mm) Live MOS sensor
• TruePic VI image processor
• ISO 100 - 12800
• Tilting (180 degrees), capacitive touchscreen LCD
• 35 focus points

Olympus E-PM2 Key Specification :

• 16.1 megapixels
• Four Thirds (17.3 x 13 mm) Live MOS sensor

• 3" Fixed LCD Screen

• 8fps in burst mode shooting
• 1080p full-HD video recording
• RAW image capture

The E-PL5 will cost $699 (Approx RM2100) with the 14-42mm retractable zoom, while the E-PM2 will cost $599 (Approx RM1800) with the same lens.
